The eMprint editions are designed to be opened and read in full-screen view within Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. Version 6.0 or higher is required. When you open an eMprint edition, your screen will go dark just before the front page is displayed.

The eMprint editions are rich-media PDF files that range between 5-10 MB, so a high-speed connection to the Internet is essential.

Weekly eMprint Edition

The Weekly eMprint Edition of the Columbia Missourian is a research project designed to evaluate a new electronic newspaper concept. The edition will be posted on the Missourian Web site each Sunday morning during the planned 10-week field test, which will run from March 6 through May 8, 2005.

This field test will be conducted in collaboration with the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute and Missouri School of Journalism.

Participants will receive an e-mail notification when each issue is ready to download. Participants also will receive a weekly e-mail message with a link to an online survey form. Information gathered from these surveys will be used to help us evaluate and refine the eMprint concept.

Participation in the field test is voluntary and free; however, to participate you must register.

Participants may cancel their free subscription to the Weekly Digital Edition at any time during the field test by sending a cancellation request.

NOTE: Registration will begin March 1, 2005.
